Horndon - St Peter & St Paul

An avenue of limes leads to this lovely 13th century church. The roofs are largely original but incorporate two 15th century king post trusses. There are two dormer windows north and south instead of a clerestory. The timber bell turret with a shingled spire was erected c.1500.
