The 14th century chancel is plain and austere. All the focus is on the altar and the huge east window, which takes up almost the whole of the east wall. The church was restored in 1896 and re-opened in 1902 with new furnishings including reredos and stained glass. The two small pews beside the lectern are 15th century, with poppyhead benchends and traceried panels.
